I attended a CCC for two years and transferred to SJSU for art. I graduated with a BA but I realized that I made a huge mistake in choosing my major. After two years I enrolled back into the same CCC hoping to transfer this time to a UC for biology which was the major I loved and intended to pursue (but didnt) the first time around. My CCC transcript kept all my units from before so now I have well over 100 and there is a four year gap.

My college counselor basically told me that it seemed like there is no chance for me to get into a UC since I already have a BA and have 100+ units on my CCC transcript.

Is this true and if so, cant I not tell anyone of my BA since there is no proof of it anywhere in my CCC records? How can I go back to school?

It looks like only a few UCs might consider me by approval of the dean.

I’m just afraid of finishing all my prereqs and then getting rejected! It seems like a whole lot of work for nothing… I guess all I could do is continue and hope for the best?
