I am a freshman at SDSU this year and was accepted to the U for fall 2014 but went to SDSU instead. I now want to go back to Minnesota and attend the U. I completed 60 college credits at a CC during high school and graduated with a 3.3 GPA, I got a D+ in one class fall semester at SDSU and am retaking it now and will most likely get an A or A-. My gpa from just sdsu from last semester was a 2.3. I think my overall GPA is a 3.1 if I am looking at the correct place on my transcripts. What are the chances I get accepted to UMN again but as a transfer this time?
Also, on my application should I explain why I failed the class under special circumstances?
