I'm currently a freshman at University of North Carolina Wilmington, and it is my dream to transfer to Wesleyan. I didn't apply there in high school, but now that I've experienced what I DON'T want my college experience to be like, I know that Wesleyan would be perfect for me.

I have a decent high school record; 4.5 weighted GPA, 8 AP's, but only average extracurriculars. What really worries me are my SAT scores (1940/2400).

My college record is good. I'm a psychology major, 4.00 GPA, I am a part of many clubs including academic, music, and sports. I volunteer at a hospice center. I have many credits from AP's in high school, so I have been able to take a lot of classes for my major already.

I planned to take the ACT, and when I did practice tests I have been getting 32-33, which is WAY better than my SAT score. However, there isn't an ACT test I can take before my application is due. I know my SAT score isn't a true representation of me as a student, which really worries me. Since their transfer admissions are so competitive, should I anticipate not being accepted? Thanks to all who answer :)
