Transferring into Wharton is extremely tough, even from within Penn, and from what I’ve heard your GPA has to be amazing.

Transferring into Wharton from the College is not especially difficult, provided that you have around a 3.75+ GPA after freshman year. You are required to take ECON 001, 002 and CALC 104 to be evaluated, but other courses completed does not influence your eligibility (so, its more competitive to have finished ARTH001 with an A than ACCT101 with a B, though in my experience ARTH001 was equally demanding but infinitely more interesting than accounting)

However, transferring externally into Wharton is not possible*. What is possible (and have been done by a few students), however, is to transfer into the College, then transfer into Wharton junior year with a declared intention of completing your degree in a total of 5 years, so your transfer year could technically be viewed as your sophomore year.

Final piece of advise - GPA definitely matters quite a bit, even when transferring between Ivies. So yeah - keep those grades up!
