So recently I was waitlisted to Davis as a transfer student. The weird thing is that I was not aware that UCs even had a wait list for transfer students, I thought that it was only for freshmen applicants. A quick Google search shows that the list is relatively new and only for a few campuses. It seems odd that the UC system would have enough room for a transfer waitlist.

Does anyone have any info as to the percentage of students the UCs are expecting to pull out of their wait lists? Also, do the UCs heavily factor in the updated grade report when pulling people off the waitlist, or is your application already pretty much set in stone? I ask this mostly because my updated grade report boosts my GPA from a 3.35 to around a 3.7 (I'm a first year transfer, so one quarter of grades is pretty much half of my classes), and I'm desperately clinging to what little hope I have!
