<p>Hi, im new here. I was just placed on the transfer waiting list for Georgetown University and I am wondering if anyone has stats or advice for getting off of the waiting list. I have a 3.85 and I am a bio major at the University of Pittsburgh.

<p>Hey pete, I'm in the same position as you. I was put on the transfer waiting list for Georgetown (college). I am a math major with a 3.73 first semester from NC State, 3.978 after second semester. I have no idea how to get off this wait list but if you find anything out let me know. Good luck buddy.</p>
<p>i'm on the waitlist for columbia. i sent them my updated grades, wrote them a letter, and got another recommendation. other than that i'm just crossing my fingers.... if i don't off the waitlist i'll be going to Georgetown next year.</p>
