Transfer

Hi, I’m trying to transfer into Rutgers Business School or Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences, the New Brunswick campus. I’m trying to transfer as a first year community college student. My grades are all going to be pretty good except for probably a high C in Introduction to Psychology (its taught by an ex Rutgers professor). My number one concern is the fact that right now I am in Elementary Algebra (I know, hows that possible, I never applied myself in math except for now) What I am going to do is take Pre Clac 1 in the spring, Pre Calc 2 in the Summer and then Calc also in the Summer. My question is is this going to completely ruin my chances because they wont be able to see my Pre Calc- Calc grades yet? Everything else is basically all set except for math. I know some of you might tell me just to stay another year but I am sick and tired of being surrounded of a bunch of un motivated pot heads. I want to be somewhere where I can begin to network for my future and be surrounded by others on the same mission as me. Any advice how to relay my “math plan” in my essay? Also does anyone know if theres any way possible to set up some type of interview??
