I’m thinking about transferring to vassar. I currently go to dutchess county community college. I’m in the honors program. But I want to know before I apply… how well do transfer students do in vassar. I don’t want to get accepted and then fail my way through…

You probably know that Vassar has an outreach program with the CC system, and they work as hard as any college I know to help students through the transition.
One thing to remember on the tough days (b/c Vassar is very challenging, and there will definitely be tough days): they really won’t accept you unless they are sure that you are a strong enough student that you can do it. If you get the place, it will be because they have real confidence in you- and they will try to back you up so that you don’t fail. Promise. Just don’t be too proud to accept all the help that is available.
