I've heard and been told from people's experiences that gpa and course load is the most important of all for transfers to Cornell's college of engineering. So say one has ~3.8gpa with relatively tough course load, wants to transfer after one full year from a NY state school, everything else is only average (asian, ec, 10% hs rank, ~3.6 hs gpa, bad high school etc). How much of a chance do you guys think this stands (percentage preferred if possible)?
