so what are the criteria they would go by to give you a decision on the 1st. I got a letter saying that in most instances they want your final grades to give a decision but sometimes a decision is made without those grades. - but they will notify you before the decision deadline what is required

since it's about a week till the decision deadline and i havent heard about final grades being needed am i just getting ahead of myself again or what?

i really want to know b/c i have orrientation for Umich on the 17th and if i dont have to go... what would be the point

bump!!!!!! anyone have a clue?

I am not sure, but since you are trying to transfer at the semester...I can tell you that it is MUCH harder to get in. For transfers that want to come at the beginning of the year, only about 30% get in...I am pretty sure it's substantially less for mid-year transfers.

Notre Dame has a retention rate that is second to only one or two Ivy League schools...there's just not too many students who leave.

Good luck, though!

yeah i mean decisions are due out tmrw... and i havent received a letter yet saying they need my grades this year so i am hoping a decision this week

i know that the acceptance is about the same but fewer individuals apply - i think like around 75 -100 apply and 25-30 get in. I was accepted to Umich off of last years grades- they never wanted copies of midterms or anything - and i am hoping ND will go along the same lines - so i hope i'll hear this week
