Transfering to Penn

Hey guys. Since I've been wait listed by Penn, I've been thinking that I should just transfer next year. What do I need to do in order to get accepted? Any advices for an upcoming college freshman this august? I want to start early so I can increase my chances. Thanks a bunch :)

Since I’ll be transferring in to be a sophomore, do I need to worry about my sat scores? I’ll only have my freshman grades and my sats are horrendous. I didn’t study and winged it and got an 1820. What should I do about that?

And do the adcoms take your high school grades and ecs into consideration when transferring in as a sophomore? And ap scores and such, such as when you were applying last year as a hs senior?

I have got the same question with @nhiyenvo, and I was enrolled in a selective university in Canada and unfortunately missed application deadline of Upenn. Nevertheless, it is not so bad that the transfer rate should be almost the same as freshman applicant rate. I am sure that if I try harder, the GPA I got in current institution will be great. So, now, if I assume that I could get about 3.8+GPA, can anybody could provide the chance to transferring to Upenn? My SAT score is over 2200, and I am playing for school’s soccer team. Now, I have some int’l volunteer experience and I am the leader of a offcial soccer fans club.
I know even I got 4.0 GPA and 2400 in SAT, there still will be no guarantee about the admission, hence, I am just asking for the general situation.
Thank you guys.
