I am currently looking to transfer from a small commuter school on long island. I got a 3.8 in my first semester, while working part time at a bank. In addition, I have 18 credits from high school so I am considered a sophomore. I am happy at my school but i would like to explore the option for a bigger school with a more established business school. Preferably something on the east coast that will not put me into a lot of debt. Any suggestions?
Just be aware than different colleges have different policies on accepting AP credit or even transferring in cc coursework. Also it is hard to find schools that give aid for transfers. What is your budget?
If you are currently in Long Island (and presumably an NYS resident), why not explore Baruch College? Well-respected business school in the NYC area and will not put you into a lot of debt.
