Transferral of credits

I would like to take online courses and transfer them to my current university (University of Hartford). I am getting my bachelor’s degree in history and am considering the following:

University of Maryland University College: accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

University of Illinois Online: The University of Illinois offers an online Bachelor of Arts in History. Education in history at the University of Illinois at Springfield is broad-based humanities training, providing students with research capabilities, analytical methods, and communication skills that are useful in many fields. Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Southern New Hampshire University: offers an online Bachelor program with a minor in history. The program is 100% Internet-based employing primarily asynchronous tools. Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

New Jersey Virtual Community College Consortium: Community colleges in New Jersey have formed a consortium to share courses. Online degrees in history include an Associate in Arts in History. Accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Fort Hays State University: The Department of History at Fort Hays State University provides courses to enable students interested in completing a Master of Liberal Studies (MLS) with a concentration in history in an online format. Fort Hays State University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

American Public University: offers the following history degrees through distance education – Master of Arts in History, Bachelor of Arts in History, Associate of Arts in History. Accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council.

Got any good or bad reviews concerning these 6 institutions? Any other places that offer history courses? I’m doing this because I would like to save some money. If distance learning doesn’t work out, I think I’ll find a community college where I can take some classes.

Thanks.

University of Maryland and University of Illinois sound good. Also, you should consider Indiana University:

Just look at all of the history courses.
