Transferring after freshman year?

I'm currently a freshman studying philosophy at CU Boulder. I've been here for a month and I'll be real I'm just not feeling it, primarily because it lacks diversity and it's a small town. These have been big adjustments for me since I was raised in LA, and frankly I just don't like it haha
No doubt I'm learning a lot - CU is pretty respectable institution. But I feel like I could reach a fuller potential in a bigger place with more diversity.
My high school record pretty much sucks to be honest. I had a great extracurricular record, but I think I ended with a 3.3 GPA or so - weighted. With like 7 APs (which was basically max out limit at my school). My SAT was a 1790 and I think my ACT was a 27.
But I'm busting my ass at CU, and I think I'm going to do really well this semester and next. I'm also participating in Students for Education Reform, the Philosophy Club, Hip Hop Congress, and possibly Amnesty International. I also have really good relations with my professors so far.
Anyway, my question is, where do you think I could stand a chance?
Thank you :)

If you’re transferring as an incoming sophomore, they weigh your high school records heavily. I’m not exactly sure where you can make it, but with a 3.3 weighted GPA and a 1790 SAT, even if you get a 4.0 your freshman year, you won’t really make it to a top-tier college I would say. Did you just want to transfer to a more diverse college with the same academic range as CU Boulder?

Are you in-state for California, since you mentioned you were raised in LA?

Yeah I would be entering as a sophomore, sorry if I didn’t make that clear.
I initially really wanted to go to NYU but was, understandably, rejected. I’m pretty sure I have the capacity to perform at a better school, I just have a bad rep because of my high school record. If I could move up a couple notches academically from CU, I mean that would be cool.
Also I should mention that another thing I don’t like about CU is it’s somewhat notorious party scene, which I dislike because I am alienated because I don’t get mad faded 3-4 times a week. So if that could be replaced with a more intellectual atmosphere that would be nice haha but diversity is the driving force here.
I am in-state in California.

any opinions on this?

is there anybody out there? haha

NYU is a reach. High school GPA and ACT aren’t high enough.

Chance me

What if I retook the SAT/ACT?
I would chance back but I honestly wouldn’t have the slightest idea haha
Using this site is kind of a shot in the dark for me - I’m just relying on the knowledge and kindness of strangers to give me a general idea.

Well a 2000+ with a 3.8ish college GPA will give you a good shot. The colleges might look past the high school grades and see that you have matured since going to college.

Most def, I feel like a 3.8 shouldn’t be a problem.
But a 2000+ is going to be a mission. Anyway thanks homie, good luck.

I’ve been looking at some schools schools - anybody think that I would have a chance at transferring to Fordham or Rutgers?

Bump… Anyone?

Alright one last bump haha
Fordham or Rutgers?
