<p>At this point, I'm pretty sure that Wellesley's not going to touch the wait list, so I'm thinking about applying again next year. I was looking at the website and it says, "Second semester first-year students are discouraged from applying." Why is that?</p>
<p>Probably because you have not been at the current college long enough to really know that it is a bad fit for you. Freshmen year is a big adjustment and this may cause you to make unwise decision regarding transfering.</p>
