Transferring between Pharmacy Schools

I am currently at NEU School of Pharmacy, and will be completing my my first year pretty soon. The cost of NEU, and the lack of money from them has got me reconsidering attending there. I am considering transferring to another school, such as Rutgers.

I have a 3.5GPA currently, and I am aiming high this spring semester.

Is it possible to transfer between Schools of Pharmacy? Such as from Northeastern to Rutgers?

Or am I stuck paying NEU tuition.

Apply as a transfer after your sophomore year (right before you enter your professional years) to Rutgers.

OR

Transfer to Rutgers now as do pre-pharm and then apply to the pharmacy program as a transfer - this way isn’t a guarantee

I would call them directly with your questions.

Arthua… You can find helpful information about transferring to the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at [Rutgers | Rutgers Admissions/url. If you decide to transfer earlier as Lurker mentioned, you should apply to the School of Arts and Sciences to take the prepharmacy coursework. From there you will eventually need to apply for a school-to-school (internal) transfer to the pharmacy school. Keep in mind that both transfer processes are extremely competitive.
