Transferring-Chances/Advice

Hello. I am currently attending a private University in Iowa. I would love to transfer to Oberlin. I have family there, am a legacy, spent a lot of time in the area, and admire the college's history and ethos. I was not accepted, but I got a call from an admissions counselor who said they'd keep my file if I wanted to transfer. Here are my stats:

I am unmedicated for ADD
HS GPA: 2.7 with mostly "A"s and some "B"s senior year
SAT-1960 (710/620/630)
ACT- 27 (probably wont submit my ACT score)

I had a lot of extracurriculars in hs including debate, speech, newspaper and orchestra. I'm still doing orchestra in college and am taking 14 credits worth of classes. Right now I'm taking:

3 Arabic classes (Lab, Seminar & Strategies)
2 Freshmen Seminars (Middle eastern lit & Honors)
Comparative politics
Orchestra

Right now I have roughly around a 3.5 in my classes.

What should I be doing to make myself a more attractive transfer candidate? What Are my chances now?

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE-

I’ve submitted everything. Last semester I had a 3.85 (14 credits) and this semester I have a 4.0 (14 credits) so far for this semester. Two Arabic teachers and two politics teachers have submitted recs for me. I am participating in international student association, hillel and arabic culture club this semester. My interview (with a student working in admissions) went well also. Any ideas on chances? If you need any more info please let me know.

Good luck!

I got into Oberlin!
