Hello Im an international student who is planning on going to a college in fall semester 2015. However, I’m planning to transfer after my freshman year of any college where I end up going. Can you give me any advice and tell me the chance for my transfer decision? Here is my story why Im planning on transferring.
I was expelled in high school during my senior year and that totally changed my application process. I thought I would not get into any college so I decided to apply only on early action and decisions(where I get notification early) so I can at least go back to my home country and start everything all over again. However, I actually got accepted to all but my early decision school which was Rice. So now I changed my mind of going back to my home country and to stay here. Im planning on going to either Georgia tech or UIUC and transfer to top colleges like Cornell or Washington St Louis for math related major. If I study really hard in my freshman year and get good gpa, will I have chance to transfer? I really want to transfer after my freshman year. I dont want to stay until sophomore year. Also can you give me any advice which school will be easier to transfer out?
My stats are this.
ACT :32 (math:36, science:34, reading:30, english:29 writing:10) if it is too low, I can take it again.
SAT 2 math2:800 chem:770 (I can take physics too if needed)
AP Cal BC: 5 chem :4
GPA: 3.97 (uw), 4.7 (w)
Few extra curriculars, not too many
