Transferring community college credits past state lines?

I am currently a junior in high School taking dual enrollment credits through my high school’s partner community college in Arizona. I plan on doing this next school year as well, and graduating with quite a few credits towards my associates degree under my belt… : )

However, I am planning to finish community college in the Newport / costa mesa area of California and further transfer those to a California university. I have worry of whether or not my credits can be transferred to my future community college fro Arizona or if I will have to start over once I move?!

Does anyone know how this may unfold? And if I could ideally get all of my coursework moved to a UC school (eventually) because I have no clue! Thank you : )

the credits will be evaluated on a course by course basis by the UC you wind up at. Before you get too far down that path, you should know that OOS tuition for UCs and even CCCs is pretty absurd and there is virtually no need based aid given to OOS students.
