Hi everyone, first time posting and looking for some advice/I don’t even know.
So I currently live in Florida where I am possibly going to be attending a third year of community college. I’m two classes away from a degree in Liberal Arts, which was always just sort of a Major plug until I figured out what I wanted to do. I admit I kinda messed up in regards to that, but there isn’t really anything I can do about the past and I’ve finally got a solid plan in regards to my future aspirations; well solider plan that will only continue to solidify (c’mon psychiatry).
I plan on moving to California sometime next year where I’ll take a year off because of out of state tuition. What I’m wondering is if I’d be able to transfer community college credits from here to California CC. Followed by a transfer to a University.
If the community college accepts my credits will they automatically be accepted by the University as well, or would it still depend on the college.
I do plan on calling colleges and you know getting answers directly from the source as well as going to my current schools resource center (which sucks) but I though I’d just post this for some input.
Thanks in advance to everyone that replies.
Do you plan on attending a UC? If so, try here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/
Finish up your AA in Florida so that you have a full degree in hand. It will be more useful to you than just a bunch of random credits.
The UCs require certain coursework for transfer, so investigate that. You may need to take a couple more classes while polishing off your AA.
