Hey everyone, so I'm a hs senior right now and I'm taking summer classes at UCLA this summer. I'm planning on taking a Bio class and a Econ class. The thing is I'm taking ECon AP at my school right now and I'm confident I'll get a 4 or 5. So I'm planning to take an intermediate level Econ course at UCLA. Does anyone know where I can check on the NYU website to see if they will accept the credit? Or do I have to call them and ask? Thanks guy.

Since you're taking the class before you start at NYU, there shouldn't be a problem transferring the credit (now, if you want to take summer classes at a different university AFTER you start classes at NYU, that's a whole different story).

Still, since policies can change, calling the advising dept is a good idea.

Why isn't there a problem transferring credits BEFORE I start at NYU?

They obviously want you to take summer classes at NYU so they get paid. Summer school tuition is different from the tuition from Fall and Spring Semesters.
