transferring from a 4-year university help

hi cc :)

Currently, I attend UniversityA. Due to costs, I will be transferring back home to UniversityB. I decided not to apply to other schools b/c I am a first year with bad HS stats.

Thus, I plan to transfer from UniversityB to another, better college that is more fit for my career path in Spring 2012 or Fall 2013.

UniversityB is a decent school BUT not for my career path or my major (communications/media studies/graphic comm-esque stuff). That is the reason why I wish to transfer.

(I applied to a reach school but lol not really hoping for much as I said, my hs stats were way below avg for reach school)

My question is: what classes do I take at University B if I plan to transfer once more, to lessen the amount of credits lost? Should I focus on my major classes, or take gen ed according to my prospective schools?

Then again, I have several schools on my list that I want to apply to and am not sure if I will even get in them yet! So, how exactly do I minimize credit loss?

Bumppp~~~~~~~~

Why don’t you just go to your hometown community college and take the courses that they recommend for students who want to transfer into the major that you want? You probably will save even more money, and have access to much better help in your future transfer process.

My stepdad is against me going to a cc and he is too stubborn to argue with (I’ve tried). Basically i’ll have to move out and pay for school myself because that’s how much he is against cc, god knows why.
