I apologize if there already is a thread like this, but what are my chances of getting into University School of London if I transfer out after 2 years from New York City Technology? I haven't started there yet but I will be starting my first semester this Spring 2013. I will be keeping my GPA as high as possible, but is there anything else that I should be doing along with going to school and keeping my grades up?

Are there other schools in London that are well connected? I want to study Art History, I also have Chelsea School of Art and Design in my mind, what are my chances there?

I have a 2.5 GPA from high school, will UCL be looking at that as well? How can I make my high school GPA look not as important as it should be?

I'm really confused, stressed and lost. Please guide me.

Firstly I recommend you repost your question in either the study abroad forum or the UK forum in the international students section. You will then get many more replies.

Secondly you need to know that transfers don’t really exist in the UK. You will almost certainly need to apply to start again in the first year.

It is impossible to assess your chances from the information given above. We need to know about your grades and achievements in art, as that is all they will care about.

Usually you need to submit some kind of portfolio to gain admission to art courses. I advise you to contact the admissions office at UCL to ask about this.

You can research art schools in London at www.ucas.com.
