Hey guys,
So I'm currently a freshman and Bentley and I'm really unhappy here. First off, the college doesn't offer the major that I intend on pursuing, and in order to get the minor of my choice, I will have to toggle between Bentley and Brandeis, and pray that my credits transfer. Also, the atmosphere here is just too much of a "typical college" with the night life and everything. And to top it all off I'm a very artsy person so I stick out like a sore thumb here. I have been looking at applying as a transfer student to BU for the spring semester (January), into the school of communications to pursue advertising as a major. Are there any other suggestions as to a college with a well known communications program? Some background information about me:
High School
HS GPA: 3.3
EC's:
1.) President and founder of my HS's robotics Club
2.) President and founder of my HS's Coffee Shop (head of graphic design and advertising)
3.) Captain of the Girls JV Tennis Team (while also playing on Varsity)
4.) Drama club for 4 years
5.) Co-founder of a company
6.) Toured across the country with a stage show
7.) Part of my city's youth ensemble for classical guitar

College (Bentley):
GPA: unknown
Credit hours by end of semester: 16
EC's:
1.) Head graphic designer for WBTY (school's radio station), in charge of all logo work and online web design
2.) Part of the Arts At Bentley Program
3.) Part of BTV
4.) Radio DJ and Host on WBTY

What are my chances? What is the best advice you can give me about the transfer application process, especially with regard to BU?
