I am a sophomore at Bryant University looking to transfer into Temple. I have a subpar GPA… 2.8, hopefully, 3.0 by the end of the semester. I have looked into this a lot and the info I have gotten ranges on all aspects. Temple says the minimum transfer GPA is 3.0… however almost every other source I’ve seen says it’s 2.5 and that their transfer acceptance rate is around 87%. It could be outdated information but I just wanted to get some input on TU transfer students to see how their GPAs were when they applied. Regardless, I still plan on raising my GPA and then later submitting the application, I just wanted to get some insight.
This won’t help your question but I was just curious are you applying for spring 2018 or fall 2018? I applied as transfer for spring 2018
I also looked on temples website it said the average gpa of admitted students is 3.1 it doesn’t say that that’s the minimum to be considered
Fall
Well then you should have a lot of time to prove yourself
Just curious what your thoughts are on Bryant? My son just started there and is still doing the GenEd stuff. Why do you wish to leave? Is the campus too isolated for you? That seems to be the biggest drawback.
He seems to enjoy it aside from all the work. He averages 3-4 hours a night of homework. Add in the clubs and his days are very full with no time to socialize.
