Hello,
I am a freshman at JMU, and even though I am having a great time in Harrisonburg, I know that I want to transfer to UVA for Fall 2018.
I am a white male from a NoVa high school.
I am a business management major on the pre-med track.
My GPA for the first semester of college was 3.8.
My high school GPA was less impressive at 3.9 weighted but with a very heavy ib diploma program course load.
my ib exam scores, if they matter at all, were 4s in HL physics, biology, and french and a 5 in HL history
My ACT score was 31 with English(35) Math(31) Reading(30) and science(28)
I have a range of extracurricular activities ranging from sports to chess club president, to confidential meetings with high ranking members of a foreign government over an issue of humanitarian importance (not joking)
I also think I have decent essays lined up.
I was rejected when I applied regular decision Sr. year and I think a big part of that was my low 1st semester grades which I did improve.
Please lmk what you guys think
