Transferring from PAM to Engineering?

Hi guys, I’m a rising senior who’s interested in all econ, business, math, etc.
Mostly, I’ve been fond of the Policy Analysis and Management course in Cornell Human Ecology, but for other schools I have always been thought that my major should be Operations Research in Engineering.

I was wondering if I could apply as PAM and IF I manage to get in, will I still be able to transfer to Engineering school, and still be able to graduate within 4 years? Of course I will do my best to get nice GPAs, etc.

Thanks in advance!

I would ask the people at Cornell about this. They do like kids taking classes in as many of the colleges as they can. II believe our son graduated having taken classes in all of them but architecture and planning. You could consider a minor in OR and/or a minor in business. Our son did the OR major and business minor and the combination really works. You might need some summer school time, depending on where your AP’s put you for the math/science/computer/elective requirements for OR. The people who work at Cornell are the BEST! I would highly recommend talking with them before you apply. If you’re an engineering person, a PAM minor could also work. Lots to think about and you have the time to do that now.

@Swimmer726 thanks a lot for your answer!
