<p>I just completed my first semester at Skidmore with a 3.6 GPA. I do not feel that I am adequately challenged and motivated at Skidmore and am applying to Brown for next fall. Skidmore is a fairly prestigious school and if I keep my grades up next semester do I have a chance at getting into Brown?</p>
<p>Joel, we know nothing about you except that you have a 3.6 GPA at Skidmore. I don’t chance prospective students, but I can tell you that if you want a good chance thread going (and please realize that chance threads are rarely very useful), you need to provide more information - they’ll want high school stuff in your transfer app as well, I believe.</p>
