Transferring next fall at 22.... Too old to join a fraternity?

Hey guys,

I am going to be transferring to PSU next fall. I really feel like joining a fraternity will allow me to quickly make friends. I sometimes worry that I will feel out of place being a 22 year old junior. What do you guys think? Can anyone who is in a fraternity at Penn State please tell me whether or not the fraternities will automatically not give me a bid, or do I still have a shot? I could definitely pass for the average college student, I don't look older or anything.

anyone wanna shoot me an answer…anyone?

Youre really only 1 year older than most people anyway. The only issue would really be giving a junior a bid, but that shouldn’t deter too many.

Plus, its another body to buy alcohol with.

Thanks for the reply!

don’t feel old, I’ll be a 20 yr old freshman haha, was that your freshman age too? that makes me nervous!
