transferring out of UBC

I want to transfer out from UBC (Sauder School of Business) to an university in the States. I'm thinking about UW and UT Austin right now. Is it worth it? I don't really know how to compare business schools and just universities in general across border....

Also, the grades that I'm getting at UBC right now is around an 80%, which is a 3.88 on the GPA system they use here. Is that good enough grade for me to think about better schools such as Cornell?

The main reason that I want to transfer is that I don't really want to work in Canada in the future since there's less fashion, which is what I want to go into.

Another thing I want to note is that I am an international student. I have a Taiwanese passport.

Thanks!

Hi,
You would want to look at schools in New York City and Los Angeles. I know for sure that NYC has schools with “dual programs” where you work on both a degree in fashion and your business degree concurrently. I don’t know the names, but spend some time researching it. Good luck.

Also, I’m looking to transfer to UBC-- can you tell me a little bit about what the students do for fun there? How many months out of the year does it rain? Thanks.
