I'm a Literature major in the College of Creative Studies at UCSB. I've found myself not exactly... fond, I guess you could say, of the school. I adore CCS, but the school as a whole just isn't something that fits me. It rubs me the wrong way for some reason. Maybe it's the people, or maybe it's the atmosphere. I'm not really sure, I just don't think it's the place for me.

Anyway, I was thinking about transferring to the University of Colorado, Boulder. I was accepted last year as a Senior in high school and it was in my top three when I decided to go with UCSB.

The problem I'm noticing with this possible decision, however, is that I would have to complete GE courses before transferring. This would be all fine and well if I weren't in CCS. This is because CCS allowed me to go about my way without having to enroll in any GE classes (definitely one of the cool things about CCS.. until it turns around and bites me in the ass.. like now).

I'm just wondering if there's a possible way to get around that or if I'll have to "suffer" through the next year taking GE classes just so I can go to CUB.

Basically, I just need any information I can get about transferring out of CCS to CUB, or any other college for that matter.
