Good evening everyone! I intend to transfer to SDSU for fall of 2013. My GPA is 3.33, my major is Computer Science, and at the end of spring 2013, I will have all of my general education courses complete. I have most of my major prep completed except for CS 108, CS 237 (both of which have "no comparable course"), MATH 245 Discrete Mathematics, and PHYS 196. I am in San Diego.

Please help. I am literally getting sick at this point from worrying. I have a friend who attends SDSU and was able to begin taking upper division CS courses as a sophmore. He is currently taking upper division courses, yet is still missing one of the courses. If that means anything.

My intention is to complete the aforementioned courses at state during my first semester there.

I’m in the same situation. I’ll have all my GE courses complete (hopefully) by the end of Spring 2013. I also have all my major preps completed except for one, which I can’t find any schools that have that course available right now. I’m not sure if that’s a huge deal since I only needed to do 2 but I did two in one category and none in the other category.

For the no comparable course, you probably did do them. I called SDSU with the same question about that and they said if the descriptions match then they’ll count as the course you’re trying to transfer.

Hey, so I’m in the same situation as you two. I was wondering what your gpa was, because I am transferring as well and I’m missing one course, which is Business Communications because the two community colleges that I attend do not offer a comparable course. I’ve been obsessing over sdsu for the past three weeks haha. Anyways, I have a 3.62 and my general education package is going to be complete by the end of Spring and like I said I’m only missing one major course. I’ve been googling for last year’s admission statistics but I can’t seem to find any. If you guys could help me out that would be great!
