Transferring to a Big Ten school?

Hello everyone,
I am currently a freshman at Eastern Illinois University and I am looking at schools to transfer to for my junior & senior years. I want to transfer to a larger school that has a variety of things to do on campus/in the location, and a school that will help me open the doors to lots of job opportunities. I have always dreamed of going to a Big Ten school due to their sports programs (yes I am that type of person) and because they are generally highly respected when it comes to academics. Right now, I am looking at University of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and possibly Minnesota. Does anyone have any suggestions/advice on what can make my process easier? And what Big Ten schools have good economic programs?
Thanks in advance!

Are you in state to IL? Are you worried about OOS tuition!? What do you want to study - Econ? MN, WI and IL have strong Econ programs.

I live in IL but am not opposed to paying OOS. I will pay more attention to OOS when it comes to actually picking one school. Right now my major in econ, and I’m liking it a lot.

Does that mean you can afford OOS tuition? As a student you can only borrow $6500 as a soph.
