Transferring to a (decent) German College?

Would that be a difficult process? Is it highly competitive for international students to get in?

I'd like to go to a school taught solely in English because I don't think my German is anywhere close to being good enough to take classes in German. I know the prices vary widely, but I hear it's quite cheap to attend (somewhere along the lines of $4,000 for tuition).

I've tried using google and searching these forums for relevant discussions, but I really haven't found what I'm looking for.

Anyone know anything about it?

You need to contact the Education Officer at the German Consulate that is closest to where you live. There are several in the US [German Missions in the United States - Consulates General](http://www.germany.info/Vertretung/usa/en/03__Consulates/00/__Consulates.html) The Education Officer will be able to help you find out about universities in Germany that might work for you.
