Transferring to CSULB, but struggling greatly this semester

Hey all,

I’ll give you the rundown. I applied to CSULB last semester with all the pre-req’s done, the 60 unit upper division requirement done, and I’m about to apply for SOAR and orientation for CSULB. I got the letter of acceptance, and all the fun stuff telling me to do everything.
I didn’t want to do nothing this semester, so I decided to take 3 classes just for fun (no core, it’s Japanese, a percussion class, and ethic class) while working.
I had to drop my percussion class, due to the fact that it did not fit well with my schedule for work and babysitting my family. But, now I might have to drop the other two classes too because of financial reasons and I need more time to work. The goal here is to not drop my classes, but on the case that I might have to drop one (or both), I have to ask:

Will dropping these classes affect my admission? Will they turn me down because I dropped all of my classes for one semester? Thank you for the help.

Contact the admissions office and they will easily answer that question. They are very helpful at CSULB with any questions or concerns that you may have.
