Hello everybody,
I had a question about the transfer admissions policy at the University of Minnesota. In high school, I was a pretty lazy/bored student who wasn’t really interested in any of my classes and got pretty bored by the lack of challenge in most of them, often not doing homework. I believe I had just south of a 3.0, but also took over 12 AP classes and another 2 IB classes (such as both AP Calcs, AP Psych, IB Further Math, AP Bio, APUSH, etc), and a 33 ACT. Unfortunately, I wasn’t accepted into Minnesota, and went to Montana State as it was one of my safety schools. I am just fine here and definitely don’t hate the school, but going to Minnesota is just one of my dreams and I’d go there in a heartbeat. Assuming I do very well in my classes (which I think I will, as I was prescribed Adderrall and did very well my second semester of senior year), what are the chances I’ll be able to get into the U’s School of Food, Agr, and NR sciences for its Animal Science, pre-vet program for Fall 2016? I’m from MN if that helps. Also want to go there as I will be able to play lacrosse there, too.
