Hey guys so a couple of days ago I applied to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities which is my dream school. I've always been a Gopher fan and I just love the campus. I applied for the College of Biological Sciences and lately I've been anxious and impatient (like a lot of people on here).
Yeah, I had a 25 Composite the first time I took my ACT and Minnesota waived my application fee and really seemed interested. For you. Great GPA, Good scores, Outstanding ECs and a family legacy? I’d say you’re in for sure.

Wow you have a ton of AP classes!! My school only offers four of them:/ The reason my ACT is low is because my English subscore was a 21. I got a 26 Math, 29 Reading and a 29 Science. Are you currently enrolled in the College of Biological Sciences? @Spongerman

I’m actually not, I just sent my application in last month and recently heard back. Regardless, you should definitely be fine - it seems like it’s a safe school for you

Safety and I’m willing to bet on Honors College invitation. Let us know how it turns out once you have the answer, that’s what matters most - so that other students can learn from your case!

I think your chances are solid. Your ACT score might not be a top notch score, your gpa is killer as well as your ec’s. I’d say you are basically locked in. Good luck!

Thanks for chancing me. I think youve got a great shot (>80%) of getting in. only thing that concerns me a little is the act, but i think youll be admitted regardless
