University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

Hey guys so a couple of days ago I applied to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities which is my dream school. I've always been a Gopher fan and I just love the campus. I applied for the College of Biological Sciences and lately I've been anxious and impatient (like a lot of people on here). I was wondering if I could get your opinion on whether or not you guys think I'll get admitted. Any post will help I just would like to hear your input. Thank you! Below is info that was on my application

100% Chance, congrats! :)

Thank you for the input! I’m literally losing sleep thinking about the dang application.

Yeah, I had a 25 Composite the first time I took my ACT and Minnesota waived my application fee and really seemed interested. For you. Great GPA, Good scores, Outstanding ECs and a family legacy? I’d say you’re in for sure.

Thank you for your input it helps a ton!!

I recently go in with the following stats:
GPA: 3.43
QPA: 4.931

AP Classes: 10

SAT Math: 750
SAT Reading: 620
SAT Writing: 680
Class Rank: 14/251
Location: Maryland

Although your ACT is relatively low, your GPA KILLS mine, so you should definitely be fine. It also helps that you’re in-state… good luck! :)

Wow you have a ton of AP classes!! My school only offers four of them:/ The reason my ACT is low is because my English subscore was a 21. I got a 26 Math, 29 Reading and a 29 Science. Are you currently enrolled in the College of Biological Sciences? @Spongerman‌

You will most likely be admitted. Match/Safety

Chance back?

I’m actually not, I just sent my application in last month and recently heard back. Regardless, you should definitely be fine - it seems like it’s a safe school for you

Yep. That’s a safety/low low match for you  Good Luck! Thanks for chancing me!

You will have no problem getting in! Congratulations  I am happy that you will be going to where you want! I hope everything works out for you

It’s a pretty safe bet

Nice extracurriculars. You have a pretty good, if not great chance of getting in. Good luck !

Youre going to get in

Safety and I’m willing to bet on Honors College invitation. Let us know how it turns out once you have the answer, that’s what matters most - so that other students can learn from your case!

I think your chances are solid. Your ACT score might not be a top notch score, your gpa is killer as well as your ec’s. I’d say you are basically locked in. Good luck!

Thanks for chancing me. I think youve got a great shot (>80%) of getting in. only thing that concerns me a little is the act, but i think youll be admitted regardless

99.99% you’re in.

You have great chances, I’d consider it a low match or even a safety. Your GPA is excellent for the school!
