Is it true that if you applied to PSU as a senior in HS you cannot apply again until you have completed 2 semesters at a college?

Did you read the information on the website?

Matt- here is the link that 1moremom refers to [Penn State Undergraduate Admissions](http://admissions.psu.edu/academics/majors/requirements/transfer/)

It states:

Transferring to Penn State University Park
Transfer students to Penn State University Park must have taken two years of full-time college coursework before the time of transfer.

Why do they do that…

Matt35, it depends on how may credits you’ve taken at another school.

Applying as a Transfer Student

If you will have 17 credits or fewer after graduating high school but before entering Penn State, you would be considered a first-year student for admissions purposes. If you will have 18 or more, you would be considered a transfer student.

Transfer student admission requirements and application details are available on the Undergraduate Admissions website.
