thankssssss

rejected… it really hurts… i was a PWC scholar when i applied out of h.s… what a difference a year makes

congrats to all of u who were accepted, im sure u guys were really oustanding applicants

Sorry to hear that you were rejected .I’m still waiting to hear back , I’m starting to get impatient =/

I was rejected as a transfer student also. All it says online as a decision is “denied”… ouch. I had a 3.5 cumulative, 4.00 major GPA and the past two semesters had a 3.85 and 3.94, respectively. I also wrote what I thought was a pretty decent essay. Oh well, congrats to those who got in.

Kaley89 and chckn440 what schools did you both apply to ?

^^I applied to Harpur, for psychology. It must have been pretty competitive this year, but I’m thankful I got into all the other schools I applied to (so far, still waiting on a couple).

I applied to the school of management…

any member is accepted by binghamton(transfer)?
what is your major and GPA?

still awaiting an answer- on Long Island seeking transfer as a sophomore Political Science major–wondering for those who have recently been rejected, did you see it online under “Status of Application” first, or did you get it by snail mail first? thanks

readercc- I got mine online, nothing has come in the mail (and I don’t want a mail rejection letter anyway)

Hello are there any other transfers for fall 2009 that are yet waiting for a decision from suny binghamton as of april 16th 2009? I am getting really fustrated. I want to get accepted of course but at this point any decision whether good or bad will give me peace of mind so I can decide what I am going to do about my education plans.

My decision wasn’t posted online and I have received anything via snail mail. Its getting bad. I know the school probably thinks im stalking them bc I call often but cmon. What am I supposed to do is freaking april 16th!!!

To encourage acceptance I shipped a huge portfolio package which included highlights of me being the mistress of ceremony for the united nations and other political work I’ve done in the community. I shipped it express overnight so I pray that makes a difference in my admission.

Anyway. If you’re out there. Shout me out. Let me know im not alone in the anticipation.

^ I have still not heard back either. Hopefully we weill hear back soon. I too have called many times and have been told to wait it out. Best of luck to you and anyone else still waiting.

Transfer applications are rolling based on availability so they will accept students if they have the spots available to do so. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it until they make a decision. With over 25,000 freshman applicants this year, it is competitive, even for transfers. Good luck to all of you though!

hi, i just got in this afternoon. good luck to those of you who are still waiting.

I’m also still waiting.

Seph, so you were accepted?
Did you receive your acceptance by snail mail or was it updated on the website?

Grats, Seph

thanks and congrats to you too transfer2010, it was updated on the website.

Do you just login and look at your application or is it somewhere else?

My son got rejected as a transfer- his status changed on the website at about 11:30 today. Congrats to those who got in.

Sorry to hear about that.

Really, there were 25,000 applicants? Wow. When I was there for a tour it was at like 4,000 reviewed for transfer. Crazy.
