Any transfer applicants around here? Do you know when are the decisions mailed?

i'm applying as a transfer too. i think they said by may 1st...so hopefully very soon.

I hope it is pretty soon...i am kind of worried because I am an international student from Peru asking for aid so it is even harder...but well, we'll see.
i will love to go there, it seems to suit very well my interests and the fact that is so close to LA is a major plus too. from where are you intending to transfer?

i live about ten minutes from oxy and i'm hoping to transfer in from pasadena city college. is it more difficult to get in as an international student?

well, they say that they have "very limited financial aid" for international students but that if accepted they may cover all of oxy's educational expenses....they also say that if you apply for aid it is much more competitive. I really hope I get in though...it will be really nice going to oxy and living in LA...have you visited it? how is it like? how are the people like at oxy? it sounds like a really open and diverse environment....however, I've never actually been there. Hope to see you there...if you get any news please let me know.

apparently we'll hear back in mid to late may. i've visited oxy, it's a very nice campus, but i didn't interact much with the students because it was midterms or something like that.
