Have any of you guys that applied for transfer to Albany heard back yet?

I heard back maybe 3 weeks ago (?), accepted. (I think I applied right around Feb. 1st.)

I applied in Oct. and still haven't heard back. I called last month and the lady in the admissions office said they wouldn't make a decision till the middle of March. Then I called again a few days ago and she said they wouldn't make a decision till the middle of April. I'm getting irritated because I applied to two other schools (and got accepted) and they need responses by May 1st. :/

Hmmm that's kinda weird. You might have to put down your deposit elsewhere and risk losing it. That's what I'm going to have to do w/ Albany. The other school I applied to doesn't release decisions 'til May 1st, the same date Albany needs their response from me.

where are you guys transferring from? and your stats? i havent heard either..

OOS community college. Junior transfer, 3.94.

I actually ended up getting my acceptance letter a few days after I made this post. I'm a transfer from Herkimer County Community College, 3.53 GPA, Accounting major. In the letter they said "tentatively" only 46 credits would transfer (i've completed over 70) though, so i'm not sure if i'm actually going here because of that.

That's weird I've got kind of the same issue. In my acceptance letter it said tentitively 56 would transfer, and I think I'll have more like 66 or something. I don't see why any of my stuff wouldn't transfer either, they're all pretty generic courses. Maybe their initial estimate is based on what we have now vs. what we'll have at the end of the semester? I don't know.

Oh - have you recieved your financial aid award yet? Cuz I haven't...

Ya, I actually just received my fa award letter yesterday so you should be getting yours soon too.
