Trasnfer out of CUNY (Honors) to the following schools-How often does it happen?

As I was looking through previous decisions threads for the schools I'm applying to, I noticed that very few succesful transfers were from out of CUNY schools, especially to the following schools:

NYU
Columbia
JHU
Cornell
Chicago
Northwestern
Top 10 LACs

The school I attend has a very large transfer out rate, so there should be quite a few people that try to transfer out to schools like the ones above. I have a GPA as competitive as it gets, but am worried about how the schools above would view my school. In fact, the only transfer I hearcoming out of my CUNY about are CUNY to CUNY ones (with the exception of one honors transfer to tulane this spring), which isn't encouraging. Has anyone from CC transferred out of a senior CUNY to a school I've listed/like the ones I've listed? If so, what were your stats and reasons for leaving?

My younger daughter is a Macaulay student @ Brooklyn and is applying to transfer to Brown, Amherst, Smith, Mt. Holyoke, Boston College, and Barnard. Her Freshman GPA is 3.87. She got a 2070 on her SATs.

Keep in touch and I hope you have good luck!

good luck to your D sus! bump

do they look at your sat’s anyway, since the sat’s were from high school.

Some schools look at SATs if you aren’t a junior yet. They looked at mine, and I was applying in winter to finish my sophomore year at NYU for spring 2008.
