I know this was discussed before, but I thought that I would restart the discussion of this topic. This thread is for people to post their flight times, so that everyone can know if they should look for other CCers on their flight(s).

I fly out of Charlotte at 11:25am, I have to hang out in DFW for a little while, and then my flight to the 'Springs is at 3:50pm. If anyone is going to be in DFW from like 1:30 or something like that to 3:30, maybe we can wait for our next flight together.

Yeah, I am under the impression that almost everyone wil go through DFW on the way to the 'Springs. Thanks for posting your times, jlb11.

Oh, and jlb11, you might be on the same flight as another appointee, who is from NC like me. I'm not sure exactly when he'll be in DFW, but I think it's some time close to when you're supposed to be there.

awesome...i wouldn't be surprised if everyone did go through DFW. there's a joke that if you die in texas you will have a one hour layover in dallas before moving on. :) it's a one hour flight, six and a half hour drive in the opposite direction from the academy for me, but EVERYTHING goes through dallas love or DFW!

Hi Falcon11 - keep an eye out for MikeKnight2011 (from NJ / Orientation Dinner) who will be coming thru DFW about the same time. Boots around the neck will be a sure sign of other incoming BC's.

Wow, apparently we were wrong, jlb11. All four of the most recent posters have said that they are not going through DFW to get to the 'Springs. Oh well. At least I know to look for MikeKnight2011. I guess I'll see all of ya'll on I-day or maybe during Beast!

Falcon11 - look for Mikeknight2011 to arrive DFW around 2:10 pm from Philly, with the 3:50 pm flight then to COS (which I assume you'll be on too, right?)

muahaha. I fly out of COS on the 27th now. But I will be watching all you kiddies in the airport on the 26th since I'm taking 2 people for the bed and breakfast to my sponsor's and scaring them. Kidding, I'll see if I can calm them!

DFW (shivers), I got stuck there a day last week. I missed the ops af briefing with the commander at Dover...nice airport, but horrible delays that day!

I think they so. They also pay for meals, taxis, etc. from what my book says. But I'm not flying, so I don't fully know- the others can give you a good idea of what howf they're getting traval reinbursement.

My son is set up with a AOG B&B on the 27th but the family is telling him they'll pick him up at Dolittle Hall vs the COS airport. Is there a shuttle to USAFA from COS airport that is arranged by USAFA, or do the cadets have to pay/arrange for a private one?
