<p>Well, did you receive the letter in the mail with the instructions to activate your account? If not, you should recieve it soon and it'll contain a username and password to activate your account. If you did receive the letter, maybe read the letter carefully and try again? :)</p>

<p>Were you at Brown for the summer program? If so, I think you have to use the password you created then. That's what the CIS person told me. If you can't remember it, they'll create a new one and send it to you.</p>
<p>Are you sure you clicked on "Activate your applicant account," and not "activate your account"?</p>
