Alright, so I have a decent amount of AP a credit, & I have my plan (for eight semesters) set up where I can either double major biology & forensic science with a double minor in chemistry and forensic anthropology or if I drop the anth minor, I can triple major bio, chem, & FS. Whether I can is not the problem, I’ve confirmed both with my academic adviser & they’re doable with decent courseload. I have a goal of going to med school & then ultimately becoming a medical examiner. Which program do you think would be better suited for this goal? The triple major or the 2/2 program?
I think the 2/2 program would be better. Some med schools might look at three majors and think you’re unable to make a decision and have a solid focus on the subject you’re most interested in. (This was a criticism of me when I was triple majoring.) You’ll be taking chem classes regardless, so, if you want, you can specifically point those out on your CV under “relevant coursework” to show you have a solid background.
Either would be good so long as you keep your gpa up.
Good luck to you.
