My question is do I pursue medicine or acting? I know that medicine is a more stable career choice which is apart of my struggle. I have been focused on medicine for the last three years I have no acting experience or anything to help me get into an acting program. What should I do? ( this is just a summarized section from a longer post of mine)
Are you in high school or college now?
Why do you think you would like acting if you have no experience yet?
Yes, you could be a theater major in college and pre-med. Scheduling everything might be a bit of a challenge, but it would be possible.
You don’t have to be in an acting program to have a career as an actor. You can be a theater major with an acting emphasis. Lots of places have decent theater programs that don’t require auditions. Yes, students just enroll at those colleges/universities and sign up for Theater 101 and then go on from there.
