<p>Hi I just wanted to put my piece in on Sonoma State: I hope to get accepted there for next fall as i am currently a high school senior. I visited the campus many times and it is a little on the small end especially compared to cal states such as Long Beach and San Francisco. But I don’t know what you are looking for in a living environment because San Francisco, and to some degree Long Beach, has that fast paced city environment that Sonoma lacks [ but I kinda like that 
]. And also just as a word to the wise an essay is not included on the cal state applications which makes your GPA and SAT scores even more important!</p>
<p>Irvine has an awesome campus and is located in a perfect location in orange county, about 10-15mins to the beach and pretty much all the amenities you need. Over the years, UCI, UCSB, UCSD and UCD have all come up to be rated higher each year. You should try checking out UC Santa Cruz and UCR which are good in their respective majors, but definitely lack in other social aspects.</p>
