<p>Is it actually true that if you have not received your decision from Andover by now and if it has not come by overnight Fedex shipping that you did not get in? If this is true, I will be extremely disappointed, I haven't gotten anything from them yet :(</p>
<p>I'm afraid that that is true... I got an acceptance today as did most everyone else and I live far south</p>
<p>Bigpoppa, everything you have read, or tried to read into, the Andover notification is rumor, speculation, hearsay and conjecture. The only thing anyone knows for sure is that (a) the decisions were sent out on 3/10 and (b) if you don't hear by 3/14 you can call and find out. Lots of folks on here are still waiting. Some will still get in and some won't.</p>
<p>Ok that's really relieving to hear. I have not gotten a yes from 5 out of 6 schools, which is extremely disappointing (2 rejection 3 waitlist). My chances seem slim since Andover is one of the hardest schools to get into.</p>
<p>While yes, it's true that Andover did mail acceptances by fedex priority overnight mail, I would wait until you actually receive something saying otherwise before you rule it out. There's nothing to say it won't come tomorrow, or just got lost in the mail!</p>
<p>Yeah I have not received letters in the mail from any school yet except Deerfield. I used mostly online decisions for the schools</p>
<p>Laxtaxi, last year it was very sad, as there were many kids who held out onto false hope that their package from Andover was just delayed. In every instance, if they hadn't received their package the same day everyone else did (March 10 or March 11), they were not accepted.</p>
