panda_chibi I agree with you on Eugene Lang...if I wasn't so scared I wouldn't get enough financial aid and of being distracted by NYC, I would TOTALLY apply, lol.

I also think I'd be incredibly happy at Smith or Mount Holyoke...they seem like places for women who want to change the world, lol.
Downside- the WEATHER...but I'd be willing to brace myself and try it out :D

I think I found my true dream school in Notre Dame. It's got the right atmosphere of school spirit, academia, and religion for me. I love the feeling that when you're on campus, you're in you're own little corner of the world, totally secluded. I'm applying to other schools that some people might consider more prestigious, but I'd turn them down in a heartbeat to go to ND. Actually, I think I could say honestly that if Harvard came knocking offering a free ride, I'd still turn it down for ND.

nty2114: I've heard of Kalamazoo :) I have family out there, and I agree, it is a way better school than it gets credit for. I hope it works out for you!

Everyone's choosing prestigious schools anyway! Even tho it's not one of the factors considered.

I think it shows that these schools are prestigious FOR A REASON. Because they were awesome and so everyone wanted to go there so there was a lot of competition, which made the student body even more awesome, except for now their DESERVED reputation is a bit blown up because of hype. But they are still fantastic to begin with, see?
