<p>Meet</a> Our Scholars </p>
<p>The Truman Foundation has just announced its 2010 Scholars. Thirty impressive young men and women were chosen for a scholarship that pays up to $30,000.00 for the pursuit of studies in public affairs. This year there were 576 applications from 245 colleges and universities. Finalists were announced in February when 176 were selected from 122 institutions.</p>
<p>For 2010, there were five universities with two Truman Scholars each, including our own Penn. Other schools with two scholars were the US Military Academy, the US Naval Academy, the U. of Georgia and Notre Dame.</p>
<p>Within the Ivy League, Brown, Cornell, Harvard and Yale each had one Scholar. Columbia, Dartmouth and Princeton had none.</p>
